چکیده

It was aimed to investigate the genetic parameters in growth, fertility, and productivity of Anatolian buffaloes maintained at private farms Yozgat. A total 1139 buffalo cows their calves were used study. The weights birth, weaning, 6th 12th months age, daily live weight gains (DLWG) born from 2015 2019 recorded. Calving interval (CI) service period (SP), lactation milk yield (LMY), per day (MYPDLP), calving (MYPDCI), peak (PY), a (DPY) persistency (P) traits examined. An animal model estimate phenotypic by using Wombat software. village, year, season, sex, age dam, considered as fixed animals taken random effects. heritabilities 0.28 ± 0.08, 0.45 0.29, 0.56 0.10, 0.76 0.18, 0.32 0.28, 0.54 0.69 0.17, 0.24 0.19, respectively above mentioned growth traits. Reproductive had low 0.11. production about 0.25 overwhelmingly. correlations indicated that twelve could be for selection Environmental factors such feeding management should corrected improving fertility.

Estimation of genetic parameters for productive and reproductive traits in Esfahan native chickens

The main aim of this research was to estimate the genetic and phenotypic parameters for productive and reproductive traits of Esfahan native chickens. Traits included body weights at hatch (BW1), 8 weeks of age (BW8), 12 weeks of age (BW12), and at sexual maturity (WSM)], age at sex maturity (ASM), egg number (EN), average egg weight (AEW) in the first 12 weeks of production, and egg production...

Effects of Dietary Protein and Energy Levels on Productive and Reproductive Performance of Lactating Buffaloes

Twenty eight lactating buffaloes were used in a completely randomized design with 2×2 factorial arrangement of four experimental diets including low protein–low energy (LP-LE), low protein–high energy (LP-HE), high protein–low energy (HP-LE) and high protein–high energy (HP-HE). Results showed that the HP-HE diet recorded the highest digestibility coefficients of CP, EE, NFE, nutritive values, ...

Genetic parameters for stayability in Murrah buffaloes.

In order to contribute to the breeding programmes of Asian water buffalo, the aim of this study was to analyse the influence of genetic effects in the stayability of Murrah dairy buffaloes. The stayability trait (ST) was defined as the female's ability to stay in the herd for one (ST1), two (ST2), three (ST3), four (ST4), five (ST5) or six years (ST6) after the first calving. The same trait was...
